Direct outside air supply
Did you know that you can have your stove or fireplace take in air directly from outside? That way, the unit will not draw its oxygen or heated air from your (living) room, but from elsewhere. Ideal for homes equipped with a ventilation system or low-energy homes with good insulation.
Air from outside or from another room?
Where the fresh air supply comes from is up to you: it can be piped in directly from outside, or from a basement or storeroom.
Clean, safe combustion
Thanks to this outside air connection, the air needed is provided continuously from outside, leaving the delicate balance between aeration and ventilation unaffected. The preheated external combustion air is forced directly into the combustion chamber, resulting in clean, safe combustion.
Healthy inside air and wonderful heat!
A stove or fireplace fitted with an outside air connection guarantees clean, healthy inside air while providing wonderful heat!
